Festivals & Markets
Leave paper programs behind and bring your festivals and markets into the mobile age with a beautifully branded, all-in-one digital guide powered by the Explorer App. With Local Explorers, Main Street Organizations can create a dedicated festival or market page within their app that acts as a real-time, interactive hub for attendees. From food truck rallies and weekly farmers markets to seasonal street fairs and cultural festivals, every event becomes more accessible, more organized, and more engaging.
Visitors can easily browse interactive maps to locate vendor booths, stages, and amenities; view up to date event schedules; explore featured artisans, makers, and food offerings; and even connect directly to ticket sales or social media—all from their phones. Built-in tools like push notifications, vendor search filters, and GPS navigation ensure that guests never miss a performance, a pop-up, or a local gem.
For Main Street Organizations, the platform eliminates the high cost and logistical complexity of printed guides. It allows for last-minute updates, real-time changes, and tailored messaging—keeping everyone in the loop, even as the event unfolds. With full back-end access, vendors can update their listings, highlight daily specials, and gain visibility throughout the duration of the event.
Best of all, your organization gains access to detailed analytics on app usage, vendor views, peak attendance times, and user behavior—providing valuable insights to shape future events and demonstrate community impact to stakeholders.
With Local Explorers, your festivals and markets go from static to smart, offering a better experience for attendees, more exposure for vendors, and better outcomes for your community.
Advertisements & Sponsors
Local Explorers offers an innovative sponsorship model that empowers downtown business and local partners to support community-driven apps through targeted in-app advertising. This approach creates a win-win for Main Street Organizations, sponsors, and users by aligning economic development with local engagement.
Sponsors can promote their products, services, or events—like farmers markets or seasonal festivals—directly to an audience of local and nearby visitors eager to explore what Main Street has to offer. These non-intrusive ads can include interactive features, exclusive offers, or geo-targeted notifications, boosting visibility and driving measurable returns.
Main Street Organizations will appreciate that this sponsorship system offers a sustainable revenue stream to enhance and maintain the app, helping reduce dependence on public funding while amplifying support for local businesses.
Users benefit from discovering relevant shops, experiences, and community events—all within a single digital hub. With Local Explorers, Main Street Organizations can foster a thriving, self-sustaining ecosystem that strengthens local businesses and celebrates the heartbeat of their downtown area.

Empower Your Businesses: Data-Driven Analytics

Local Explorers equips Main Street organizations with a robust analytics dashboard that delivers powerful insights into how locals and visitors engage with downtown businesses, events, and markets. This behind-the-scenes tool turns raw usage data into clear, actionable intelligence—helping Main Street leaders optimize programming, support vendors, and improve outcomes across seasonal events and everyday activity.
The dashboard tracks key performance indicators like app usage, foot traffic patterns, check-ins, peak visitation times, and engagement across specific attractions, events, or vendor listings. It also provides demographic breakdowns, origin data, and dwell times—enabling organizations to tailor their outreach and allocate resources more effectively.
For festivals and markets, this means understanding which vendors are attracting attention, how visitors are navigating events, and which promotional efforts are driving participation. Combined with user sentiment analysis from reviews and check-ins, Main Street organizations can quickly respond to community needs and elevate the overall visitor experience.
Customizable visual reports make it easy to share impact metrics with boards, sponsors, and stakeholders. With Local Explorers, Main Street organizations gain the data they need to support local commerce, measure the success of events like farmers markets and festivals, and refine strategies that keep their downtown vibrant and resilient.
