Project Description
The NH Wine Trail app, developed by Local Explorers for the New Hampshire Winery Association (NHWA), offers wine lovers a digital upgrade to the association’s popular paper-based Wine Passport program. This customized mobile app allows users to easily locate nearby participating wineries, access detailed information on each, map out personalized winery tours, and earn badges/prizes by checking in at multiple stops – all to encourage exploration of New Hampshire’s vibrant and diverse winery scene.
The NHWA selected Local Explorers to build the app due to the company’s successful track record with similar digital loyalty and discovery programs for tourism. Beyond modernizing the existing passport program, the app aims to expand the association’s online reach and promote New Hampshire’s unique wine culture, which spans a wide range of styles from high-end tasting rooms to farm garage-style facilities. Supported by a state agriculture grant, the NHWA is launching a comprehensive campaign to drive awareness and downloads of the NH Wine Trail app, putting the Live Free State’s thriving winery offerings in the palm of wine lovers’ hands.
