Project Description
Local Explorers has created a new mobile app for the Colorado Distillers Guild to serve as a digital upgrade to the guild’s existing paper Colorado Spirits Trail map. The app allows craft spirit aficionados to easily locate nearby distilleries and tasting rooms, learn about the state’s diverse collection of distilleries and their offerings, plan self-guided tours, and earn rewards by checking into participating distilleries.
The app was a natural evolution from the original paper trail map, which was launched in 2018 but saw usage disrupted by the pandemic. Now, as Colorado’s vibrant and growing craft spirits scene rebounds, the new app will help draw visitors to explore the state’s over 100 distilleries, 60 of which belong to the Colorado Distillers Guild. The guild’s partnership with Local Explorers has been instrumental in bringing this digital experience to life and providing a more user-friendly way for travelers to discover Colorado’s thriving distillery landscape.
